For sale: Large Portable Air Con Unit - €110

When you say “includes window fittings” can you advise what these are, and possibly provide any photographs and dimensions?

We are looking for a unit to cool our rooftop conservatory type room, which gets baking hot in summer months. However, I am unsure on how to vent the extracted warm air to the outside, as the usual systems come with a hose that is placed through an open window or door. Problem with this is that any window or door that is open (even slightly) provides another inlet for warm outside air to come inside, so it’s really a negative step in hot conditions, and places additional load on the unit as it will be constantly running to try and cool the incoming air - and are expensive to run in situations like this?!

Hi and thanks for your msg.  My eldest son bought this for us, and he himself used itto when here for 4 days but, asso I have asthma,air conditioning doesn`t agree with me.  Consequently, it hasn`t been used since.  It comes supplied, as you say, with a hose.  My husband made an attachment for it which slots into the window frame and rheI window slides along up to it, making a seal.  We have all the paperwork/instructions for it and you are very welcome to Come and view it.  It would be ideal for your needs and, asso it haswas only been used for 4 days, is in new Condition.

Hi Barry.  I will do as you say.  As yet, there has been no other interest in the unit, which is a shame as it`s as new condition and a bargain at €110.  If I still have it on 7th I will msg you.
