Hi, I have developed a lung disease which requires me to have a continuous supply Of oxygen. This is very limiting, and makes it difficult for me to get out of the house.

I am looking for a portable oxygen concentrator, 1-5L, continuous flow unit, with bag and car charger possibly with trolley, so that I can get out of the house without the distress of not having oxygen.

If anyone has one they are prepared to sell, I would be grateful.

Are you not in the Spanish health system?

Sounds like you need professional help not self medication.

I would happen to agree with Movingon first and foremost, but if you wanted to pursue a oxygen concentrator then look on ebay, a general internet web search or alibaba. I got a reconditioned one off a uk company (5L max) for a few hundred quid. If you want to breath high % concentrations of oxygen then you need to exercise as well to produce the needed co2 in order to make it safe.

There are however many different models on the likes of ebay which come with different bits and bobs and with different capabilities.

Thank you. I am on the Spanish NHS and I have a unit for home supplied by the hospital. I just don't know if they would be prepared to supply a second movable unit. I intend to see the doc and ask him.

Hello Lexi,

In my experience, the NHS supplies both ONLY if you need oxygen 24h/day (My mom's case). I had an episode of EPOC and had a 16h/day prescription so got a house unit from NHS but could not apply for the moveable one. This was all in Madrid, so could be different in each Autonomía. You should check with your dr.

I have lots of unopened nasal canules to give away (the oxygen suppliers did not want back when they picked up the unit I no longer needed) if you should want/need them or know of anyone needing extra ones.

Good luck.

Good to know! Do you know if  she will be allowed to keep it after coming back? - I mean for everyday use, going outdoors, etc.

So far yes. We had it mid August and still use it.

Good to know. Linde is not the oxygen company the NHS uses in Madrid (Oximesa). Maybe they have different policies. Thank you.
