Hi Beanbag , when our pool was built it was sealed with  Sitkaflex before the tiles were fixed, maybe you could enquire where the pool companies get it from , but I think that any of the large   builders merchants would be able to get it?

Thanks for the advice as it happens I know 2 people working for a pool company never thought about them. Many thanks again.

Cano the builders merchants (on the top road off the urb towards the N332) sell a black bituminous type substance in a can that you can paint on. It's horrible stuff to use, but it does the job. Wear old clothes and use brushes you are prepared to throw away. Put at least two coats on - more if you like. It worked in my underbuild with two.

The product that Cano's sold me was called Curidan. Anyway, if you go to Cano's and ask for "una sustancia bituminosa viscosa para impermeabilización de paredes" I'm sure they will sell you Curidan or something similar.

Geoff.
