To complete locator form you need to put in code from pre booked day 2 test.

My understanding is that you only need a lateral flow test, and of course you book it before you fly and record the reference number and take it with you, when you fill in the locator  prior to flight back you put the reference code in then.. job done…

You DO need a day 2 PCR test when do do arrive in UK.   As long as you are double vaccinated  if not double vaccinated  different rules apply

Hi, from 4th of Oct you don’t need the lateral flow test to return to the uk, and from

The end of Oct you don’t need  the 2 day pcr test, just a lateral flow test which I believe should be cheaper.

In order to fill in the English locator form before your return to the uk you need to have to hand the reference number of the booked lateral/pcr test other wise you will be in do do lol…

Depends if you are fully jabbed or not and also which country in the U.K. you are going back to.

We need all the information but you can be given the correct answer.

If I mentioned the English locator form that would imply I’m returning to England.

I’m trying to help this person with there question not pull people on their answers.

My post was  a question directed at the OP and was not directed at you.

England, Wales, Scot and NI all have different entry requirements, even though the same passenger locator form is completed.

Not all the countries are changing the rules from 4th October  and rather then guess where the OP is returning to, I would prefer  to have all the information to hand to give a correct answer. Depending on where they are travelling to, they may still need to take a pre departure test.

So no it’s not about being a keyboard warrior it’s about finding out the facts before attempting to answer the question.
