Hi everyone, I hope someone can give me advice. Following a curtailed holiday abroad in March my partner and I returned to his home and have been here ever since. However, my home is a 35minute drive away and not only would I like to check on it I need to collect some financial paperwork. Do you think I am entitled to make the return journey?

If it's your principal residence in Spain - the address on your residencia - then there should not be too much problem getting there, coming back would likely prove somewhat more fraught though as you're still only permitted to travel from your place of residence to your nearest shops and pharmacies.

If you're caught elsewhere you'll be told to go back and probably with a €601 fine for your trouble.

If you really want to go best be prepared for it to be a one way trip.

Thank you, I guess I can wait a couple more weeks.
