We took some nhs ones in our hand luggage and tested ourselves regularly for peace of mind whilst there.

I am confused re the day 2 lateral test? I am flying to the uk for 4 days in mid November, im double jabbed and appreciate i need a day 2 lateral test for entry in to uk and a code to complete my uk locator form but what I don't understand is why or how that works by buying a lateral flow test in a pharmacy in spain with a result in 15 minutes.....how does that satisfy the uk.gov rules?

The original poster was asking for available tests to buy whilst in Spain for peace of mind not for travel purposes.
If you are flying to the UK you need to purchase a day 2 test from a UK Government approved supplier, they will provide the code for your UK locator form.

Hi everyone. Thank you for the information. I have now bought some tests from the pharmacy at 5 euros a time. Much appreciate the help.
Was charged €7.80 for one test in La Zenia. These are self admisistered home test, not clinic test. I would suggest that when you are back in the UK you go to any pharmacy and ask for test pack which are free for s oack of seven 🤔
