Would be grateful for any help on car hire from alicante Airport.
Which company is the cheapest and the reliable?
I carnt believe how much prices for car hiring in alicante Airport has gone up in the past year and a half since I last hired one?
Any advise or help would be much appreciated

Hi, I am coming out the end of September and I always use Record car hire, they are in the airport and provided you book “Total Comfort” package other than the fuel there are no surprise charges on your credit card or when you take the car back. It’s 100% covered for every eventuality. You just drop the keys and walk.
This year I have noticed that the charges are much higher than normal, probably down to Covid I expect. If you join the Record Car club you get further discounts. It’s free to join and can be done from their home page.

Hi I think the cheapest way is through Doyouspain - they are a broker and get the best prices for all the companies. I get intenational ecess cover in the UK which covers me (£40 a year but I plan to use it several times each year). It does though mean leaving a deposit at that the car hire company can take if there is damage etc (usually a depodit of 1100€). Otherwise Doyouspain will cover you fully comp for around £60 a week. I hired a small car last week for about £60 for 10 days - more than in previous years.

Hi we always use Drivila now called Leasys they are in Alicante Airport and they offer a comprehensive package that means you don't have to leave any deposits or in fact you can pay by cash or debit card if you prefer you dont need to have a credit card. No hidden extras we have used them for years, it can be a bit expensive for the comprehensive deal, and you do have the alternative of taking the basic package which does mean you have to leave deposits etc and that is a cheaper option. Used them for years and never once had a problem fast and very efficient service and the cars are always brand new. Enjoy your break.

Do not and I mean do not rent with OK mobility .I hired a car last july and almost everyone returning their car was told there was damage to the car and if they had no extra insurance with them (which they try sell you on collection)it would have to be paid for.Many tried in vain to say the damage was already there, to be asked "have you any photos "generally they didn't, so that was that,I think their reviews will back up what I'm trying to advise you against.They look to be the cheapest but beware .
