We always use this company, they are based in El Campello but they meet you at the airport with the vehicle.

This what I do , doyouspain to shop , then I usually use ok rentalcars, but this is a but big but , go excess free , I've booked for next week , £167 for a 208gt automatic, with zero excess , you can get a renta wreck for far cheaper , but I like nearly new cars ,

I carnt believe how much prices for car hiring in alicante Airport has gone up in the past year and a half since I last hired one?

Yep, the car hire rates have almost trebled this year, I guess we just have to grin and bear it. I use Centauro, go direct not through a broker, they have free cancellation and their rates are competative when I shop around. I always take the Basic, they will block out €1050.00 on your card as a deposit. For insurance I purchase an annual policy in the UK from Insurance4Carhire. Works for me.

At the moment it's not a case of who and cheapest. There are very few hire companies with cars available. Tried for October and for 14 days cost was £245, three times more expensive than before the pandemic. Good luck.

We have used Centuro for a number of years and belong to their Gold Club Never had a problem no hidden charges and hand the keys back and get refund for full tank within 2 days of leaving the car

Totally agree we normally pay €40 for ten days went online last week the cars hire companies wonted €210 then went on to book it 2days later and it was €640???

Really don't no what has happened it's is disgraceful shouldn't be allowed you

Expect a little increase but not that much....

Is Lara cars a small independent or will they come up on a search of DoYouSpain, for example? Our usual provider cant help this time and looking for a reliable company with reasonable rates. Do you have a website address for them please? A google search redirected me to Kayak?
