Does anyone know when the Spanish will be dropping all restrictions?

I heard yesterday they are actually extending it?

Where did you hear that information?

Valencia have dropped all covid restrictions, which means that only National restrictions remain in place.

Pedro Sanchez has hinted that restrictions would be reviewed again after Semana Santa.

It's reported in the UK press today that Spain has extended the existing covid entry restrictions until end of April for 3rd country visitors, which includes the UK.

I have not seen any changes to covid rules within Spain.

Thanks Lynn. That is very clear and corresponds with my understanding. My son will be testing this out in practice very soon. He tested positive a week ago and had this verified by an NHS PCR test, which is on his record. So in a few days he should be able to evidence formal proof of recovery on ...

...the NHS app.  We are traveling to Spain on 15th April so fingers crossed !

Just to update people on my son's  case, he was able to enter Spain without problem, using only a proof of recovery certificate. His positive PCR test result was recorded on his NHS record, and ten days after testing positive he was able to download a NHS Covid pass with QR code, entitled "NHS Covid pass - recovered".  He completed the Spain Spth form, using this Covid pass that was duly validated and allowed him to get a Spth QR code. At Alicante airport he showed both documents, and was waived through, without question. So I'm glad to say we are now here and enjoying the Spanish sunshine.

Wonderful news Lee

Have a fantastic trip - I think you missed the unusual monsoon conditions of recent weeks.
