Hi. I'm  flying  back  to  Spain  on Saturday 5th December. Do I need  a covid test in the  uk before  I come back. I am a resident, and have  been  away  just  under  3 weeks. Cheers  Gil

Yes you will need a test and they can be very expensive.  I don't know where you live but if convenient expresstest.co.uk do PCR tests at Gatwick and Edinburgh airports and only charge £60 per person including fit to fly certificate with passport numbers on (this is a requirement). Open 7 days a week with results back the following day but good to allow an extra day.

Yes you do, that’s what Spain has decided. Personally I think you should have one before going back to the UK from Spain the way things are are at present.

Flew back to Spain today with my negative Covid PCR test, had to show it along with QR code on the Spanish travel form before being allowed onto the Ryanair plane. Wasn't asked for Covid certificate in Alicante only QR code. Only 9 passengers on the flight, loads of no shows because of the new requirements I guess and the cost of the test.

Just 9 passengers, at least it wouldn't take  long  to get your cup of tea. Cheers

Hi Jane

Could I ask how much you paid for your test and where you got it done? I’m in Essex and flying to Alicante on the 21st December if you near me it would be helpful to know
