Imed or Quiron hospitals both do them.

Imed has two hospitals, Torrevieja and Elche.

Hi are you sure you need the PCR test and not the cheaper ( lateral flow) Antigen test if you are flying/ Sailing back to the U.K. the Antigen test @€40 from El Raso pharmacy is exceptable on the Gov.U.K. Website

You need the PCR test. I had mine at Quiron last week cost 95 Euros. You can make an appointment but also just turn up without one. I had to wait about 20 minutes for the whole process, need your passport. Plus you need to go back the next day to get the results as you need the Paperwork to get on the plane. Also you need to book a 2 and 8 day Covid test before you go for when you arrive back in the UK or they won't let you on the plane without the paperwork for that as well.

Sorry IanW

I have to disagree with you, there have been endless posts on this topic of Covid testing requirements for travel on this site, as many still thinks they have to pay for the PCR test, if anyone is still unsure it is very clear on the Gov.U.K. Site, I have directed several friends and neighbors to Julian Rodrigues at El Raso pharmacy who does need your passport and will present you with you result in hard copy form as a certificate within 2 hrs.

And of course you still have to order and pay for your quarantine PCR travel package for day 2 and 8, on the gov.gov U.K. website now the cheapest is now down to £175

Hi IanW

As Leah69 states, Antigen test is perfectly acceptable for returning to the U.K. I had mine at our local IMED hospital. The result was emailed to me within 10 minutes. There was a link in the email to the required “paperwork” which, for ease of access at the airport, I did a screenshot of. 🤪🥂

What is the position if you have had your Covid19 vaccination?

Hi nikkimunday

Couldn’t say for sure, however, a friend is flying back to Spain shortly. She is fully (x2) vaccinated but will have a test before she flies.

There’s some info on .gov.uk 🤪🥂
