It's on the UK gov approved list and as Scotland recently changed its rules on testing companies this fits the bill

Not sure but I believe this company has been removed from recognised company we can use.

Please advise if not correct

Follow this link for the gov approved providers. It says for arrivals in England but also applies to Scotland now.

Yes, but you need to order it before you can fill in your passenger locator form as you need the reference number for the form.

John you and I think alike, we had the same experience when we returned in July, but I went through all the rigmarole of taking and sending off both tests, I got a negative confirmation, my wife got no confirmation of both tests, even though they were dropped in the same post box, so I will be doing the same as you in October, and see what happens!
