Hi Izzy,  I have no SIP number and never heard of a SIP # and keep running into this when I find "simple" ways to get this Vaccine Certificate.

Also I am in Andalusia so I think  your instructions only apply in Costa Blanca.  ??  Not sure.

Also it would be handy to know these instructions only work if you have a SIP number (State Health Benefits).

I did read that you can get a temporary SIP from the Health Center but as I am in Andalusia they might do it differently.

If things are so different in different parts of the Country I wonder if Alex could set it up so we don't see these helpful topics which we cannot benefit from.  Thanks anyway Izzy.

Hi Kerri,

You're location is showing as "Alicante City", which is on the Costa Blanca.  If you change your location to wherever you live in Andalucia, perhaps you'll see posts only relevant to your area.  I can't say definitively, as this is Costa Blanca Forum, not Costa Del Sol Forum.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi, I posted this information on the La Marina Forum which is Costa Blanca,

you have to choose your area to see posts local to you, or you can choose a specific

area or all of them, each autonomous region is doing it their own way.

When I write helpful tips they are included in the tips guide.

The information is a walk through to guide you on the website the Spanish Government tell

you to go to so you can get your Vaccination certificate in Valencia if you want to do it online.

You need the website specific to your area.

Yes you have to have a health card (SIP), you have to be registered at a health centre

to be able to get contacted to have the vaccinations.

If you are paying private health care you need to take the papers with the padron,

passport, tie etc to your local health centre and ask for a temporary sip for the vaccination,

ensure your details are correct and they will message or call you.

If you are paying into the Spanish Healthcare system "Convenio Especial" you have a Sip card with this too.

If you are not resident and unable to return home the Spanish media have said there

will be provisions made to vaccinate non residents, you must enquire at your local health centre.

Here is a link with information for you:

http://www.surinenglish.com/national/202107/01/this-obtain-digital-covid-20210701110041.html

People can collect certificates from your local health centres if you cannot do it online.

My post however was only how to get a digital certificate nothing more.

Hope this is helpful, by the way have you had your vaccinations in Spain?

Hi Izzy yes I have.  Will try to find why they didn't provide the Temp SIP.  I have the second jab end of August so I will ask about all this.  Thanks again for the post.

Further clarification......

If you are having trouble filling in any box, or receiving a code, OR especially if you have to change your phone number - use the Firefox browser.

Many Spanish Government websites only work as intended when using Firefox. It's to do with the connection protocols - which only Firefox strongly adhere to.

This link is for Valencia Area only.

1. Open this link in Google Chrome translate to English with Chrome,

then click on "Request EU Digital Covid Certificate".

http://coronavirus.san.gva.es/es/certificado-digital-ue

2. Fill in your details, the easy to follow instructions are above your

contact details.

3. After filling in information insert the code you see on screen (case sensitive), it then

tells you the last 3 digits of your phone number, is it right? if so press yes send sms.

4. The code is sent to your phone immediately.

5. Type in the code, then you are taken to the certificate page.

The first one is for the the vaccination certificate, click on it to download.

I have just done it exactly as I described above, all completed within 2 minutes and downloaded the certificate with my details, vaccination details, and QR code at the top right hand side.

It was easy, it wasn´t even necessary to translate it really, it was so straightforward.

Hope this helps.
I have just learned that you cannot use some IPhones/IPads for this if it does not work I guess it maybe that you are running an old IOS which you can no longer update which then makes it not secure, no problem with android or pc/laptop.
Extra information:

davidgeorge gave this info:

Hi, it works on an Apple Mac if you have one, I’ve downloaded mine and my wife’s on a Mac.

Hi thanks very much for reply . I’ve got it ,but I can’t seem to get it to copy and paste ,so as I can print it off .quite possibly because it is an old iPhone .  I know that I can probably use my phone to show officials ,but I would like a paper copy just incase I lose my phone ,which is not an uncommon issue 😀

But hopefully I ll get someone to help me with this problem

Thanks again everybody

Hi does anyone know as Ireland is lagging away behind in implementing this could you use the Spanish version to get a green certificate as we are all EU citizens and its supposed to be a EU wide document

If you are an Irish Passport holder in the Island of Ireland you can obtain an Irish Covid Vaccination Certificate.

In my case ,live in Belfast, double vaccinated with NHS vaccination certificate, went on site and followed instructions to obtain Irish EU certificate, took 10 minutes, have both certs on phone and in paper form in pocket.
