Hello

Visiting LM later this year and its been 3 years since last here.  What is the procedure at Alicante airport now with Brexit?  I'm assuming we can no longer use the EU lanes so how long was the wait to get through border controll?

We have been through 4 times in the past 6 months, to be honest it didn’t take any longer. But at the times we flew there were not a lot or passengers flying and not peak season. I don’t think you are going to see a great deal of difference, everyone said you would but it hasn’t turned out that way. It’s certainly no worse than getting through border controls when you return to the UK, and you are British.

I agree with the above. It all seems very well organised in a three part operation - firstly, the electronic gate, then the entry/exit stamp which takes very little time, and finally a quick scan of the Spanish Health form as one passes through the airport. The managers are clearly anxious to make transit as easy as possible and it appears to be working well.
