Hi Richard , thank you for your reply . We could try to start a Expats group in La Marina However if you don’t mind we could come to one of your meetings one week . Crevillent is not too far away , how would you feel about us visiting?

Our group would be delighted to have you come along!  The next meeting, in 3 weeks, will be at the Los Molinos restaurant in the Crevillent to Matola road.   No need to have the meal, which is always excellent (12.50 each) because we like to have a drink and a chat on their covered terrace first.

There is a FB group Costa Blanca Menu Del Dia which we belong too, people rate restaurants they have been too and occasionally there is a meet up to go to a restaurant and make friends.

Hi,

My husband and I live in Gran Alacant and there is a group here that does meeting with music etc..  There is also the Bowling club which we are social members of and they also do events.  Every Monday there is a quiz in Lounge D in the area known as Masa Square which is above Dialprix supermarket  which is not far from the commercial centre - the questions are very much geared to older participants - no recent pop music etc..  There is also occasional fun nights usually on a Friday.  We are a friendly crowd so come along some night.  You can contact me first if you want and I can meet you there.

Thank you for your reply . We would love to meet up with the group, how kind of you to offer to meet us before we go into the group. When would it be aconvienent time / place to meet if you have time ? This evening we have just arrived into Alicante airport , we are here untill16 th May , then we are back again on 3 rd June . We have literally just driven past Gran Alicant, on our way back to La Marina . We look forward to hearing from you .

Hi, Monday night is quiz night, so you have just missed one but will happily meet you and introduce you to the Lounge D group.  We are supporters of both Elche Childrens Care Home and SATS Dog Rescue and at present in the midst of setting up a SATS Charity Shop here in Gran Alacant so this week is quite busy or I would have suggested coffee.  We will be at the new shop later this week to prepare it so feel free to drop by.  I can give you the address.  Enjoy the sun as it was not so good over the last week!
