This post that was quoted has been deleted.

Do not mean to be negative as your posts are normally accurate but on this occasion you have obviously been confused by the variety of answers.

Sorry, but large amounts of garden waste need to go to the punto limpio. Smaller amounts can be bagged and put in normal waste bin.

Larger items, eg furniture, will be collected by the council. Last time we did this we were told to put item by our gate and it would be collected  at 8.00am. Put out the old gate and lo and behold council rang the bell at about 8.30 asking if we forgot to put it out. Said gate had been whipped away by someone else before the council workers arrived. We had a good laugh and were told it often happens.

Hello Jay

I was only quoting someone else  (poppydom)from the day before  in La Marina who said she had been to the council & posted her reply( which seems to be incorrect , I have  now deleted my post)

My only question, that you can help with is ...... if you have no transport,  how do you dispose of  some larger items of  garden waste?

Cheers

Don’t you have to hire a skip?

I know you were quoting someone else’s information. Please do not think I was criticising you. I did not want to offend you. Sorry.

Thank you, must admit I was a bit worried.
