Many years ago I had a formula for making wood stain for fences. But now not able to find it or a suitable one anywhere.
Does anyone have such a hidden secret recipe.
Have quiet a bit to do was amazed when I went and found how much the a tin the product is here in Ferreteria, made my eyes water.

Used engine oil, costs nothing and lasts forever, been using it for years!

Interesting but must be a bit dark, the panels I have at the moment are Pine color, plus in another area a bit darker.
Do you literally slap it on as it is or do you mix it at all with anything else?
