Hi, as Dodster says ' best' can mean so many different things to different people and what is best for some people can be a long way off what is best for you ( I'm not being negative towards your post). I strongly recommend you do lots of research, do you want to live on an urbanisation or would a Spanish village suit you better? Do you want to be amongst predominantly English speakers? Near the coast or inland? These are all the questions you need to ask yourself. I did lots research, best part of a year and I visited the chosen area, spoke to lots different people before I eventually bought a place. I would say though,in hindsight that I would have liked, had it been possible to have rented first, however it's 11 years since I bought and I have no plans to sell up! Good luck with your search.

As above, we looked at la marina an weighed up distance to beach, just how British it was etc ....tempted but then discovered la zenia, much quieter, nearer beach and shopping mall,  personally that did it for us, Cabo, playa flamenca etc are all nice....do your research and travel around.  All in all it's all sunshine and beaches so enjoy. 👍
