I hve to pick up family later this week from the airport at 11.30 pm. Last time I picked up level 4 ( left side) was closed. Does anyone know if it is now reopened?

I know level five was open ad iI parked there but the last time I went at that time it was pitch black and no lighting at all. I had to use the light on my phone to even see the number of the parking space. It was horrible!

Can anyone advise the bast floor to park nowadays or maybe the right hand side is better?

Thank you.

Why are you bothering with the multi storey car park?

There is a pick up/ drop off point on the departures level (level 2) which is free for 10 minutes.

What I do when picking up family is to park up just outside the airport on a patch of waste ground or a restaurant car park. If you take the exit before the airport (Torrellano) and follow the signs for the town which is only a minute or two away, there's a big restaurant car park on the left just before you enter the town. Its usually nearly empty. When you're ready to collect your guests, go back the way you've come to the big roundabout, take first exit right to second roundabout where the airport is signed. It's only a few hundred metres further on.

Tell your guests to clear all the formalities and pick up their luggage, then come up to Departures level and go outside through the big glass doors to the pick up point, then call you. Note that the pick up point is not signed in Departures for some bizarre reason, but the sign says 'Buses and Taxis'. I always tell them to walk over to the third pick up lane, furthest away from the terminal building.

You will be there in two minutes if you've parked where I suggest, then you take a ticket at the entrance barrier, reverse into a parking bay and pick them up, then put your ticket in the exit barrier to get out, job done.

The multi storey car park is cheap. My daughter's flight was delayed over 30 minutes and we arrived early yet is still cost me less than 1.50 to park.

4th floor is having work done on the left hand side. Top floor lighting was working fine a couple of weeks ago when I dropped my daughter off.

Level 4 is also for prebooked reservations.

Many thanks for the information, we wondered what was happening on level 4. I wonder what they did about some of the cars that looked as if they had been there for years.
We always use the car park as it is convenient if there are delays and it is so cheap.
We have often parked on level 5 but a bit worried about the lighting situation at 11.30 pm as I was so nervous when it was all in darkness and so few people around last time.
