CAP Torrevieja Centro

It's a special eye centre on the top floor manned by qualified people. You go upstairs and along the corridor and a nurse will register your arrival. They have all the specialist nurses and equipment to assess the problem and is part of the Torrevieja University Hospital.

If necessary, further checks will be carried out at the hospital and, if necessary, cataract operations will take place there.

CAP is a specialised assessment centre and has been going for many years. The lower level is the health clinic.

I totally agree and endorse the reply given to your query.  I have attended the specialist eye centre at least twice.  Very satisfactory examinations, treatment given and follow up organised.  Have no hesitation about going there.

This is an excellent eye clinic where many of us have been referred with eye problems.   The eye clinic is upstairs, at the end of the corridor.   We're lucky if we're referred there through the Valencian health service.  Your investigations are not quite accurate  - it's definitely not an optician's, it's a specialist eye clinic with up-to-date facilities and qualified medical doctors in the field of opthalmology.

Hi Clive,  Sorry to intrude but, does your appointment say CAP TORREVIEJA - EL ACEQUION ?   If so I doubt it is the clinic on Calle Patricia Perez in Torrevieja.

I had a similar appointment in May this year and assumed that it was the clinic there, it was absolutely heaving  but eventually one of the nurses advised that my appointment was not there but at Centro Salud Torrevieja,   which was a fair walk away.  I finished up being over half an hour late but the eye department kindly managed to do the required tests.   Their telephone number 965290315

Hi, Ruth - Clive did say in his original message that his appointment is at the CAP Torrevieja Centro, which is the eye clinic in c/Patricia Pérez.  I would definitely hope that he has no reason to confuse it with El Acequión, which is a completely different Centro de Salud, and has no eye clinic there 😊

JUST BACK FROM THIS CLINIC.VERY IMPRESSED WITH everything ,re advice etc. Good luck.
