Hi Steve,

where do you do it? I don't seem to have the option (see attached).

P.

That's odd! When I login I see another button after "my procedures", called " discover your plan". The URL is https://www.iberdrola.es/webclifr/mac/#/miofertapersonal_EN/buscador_EN

Can you access this URL?

My electric contract is with Iberdrola but in the regulated market.  The price is fixed by the government and published everyday at 8.30am.  I am on Plan Noche.  Today I am paying 10 cents peak 6 cents off peak.  This is much lower than Iberdrola Clientes tariffs which are unregulated

I thought I was the same. How can I check this?

If your contract is with Iberdrola Clientes it is in the unregulated market  and you pay a fixed price for a 12 month contract

It's a bit of a trade-off then. My rates are 14 and 6, but my cheap hours are 10am to 1pm, and 6pm to 11pm, which means all our power intensive things are done during cheap rate. This is with Iberdrola Clientes.

Thanks but I believed from the previous owner that the contract was regulated. How can I check this? I am currently with Curenergia / Iberdrola? Who is you contract with if not Iberdrola Clientes?

Its not necessary to physically visit Iberdrola. I changed my contract to the "8 cheap hours" option using the website. You can change your 8 hours up to 8 times per year, I've already changed twice, it would be a pain to have to visit an office to do this!

Steve

Hi Steve,

Thank you for your post.

We are from California and now living full time for the past 6 months in Benitachell.

When we bought our Finca we were told that we could do the day and night program and that is what we have been doing. We were quite surprised to read that one can actually chose their hours??

We just got our January bill and it is quite close to 300e. There are just the two of us and of course no guests.

We are going into Ebedrola on Monday in hopes of changing our program as yours makes so much more sense to us.

So thank you again for posting,

Lisa

If you are with Curenergia/Iberdrola you are on a regulated contract.   It will say on our invoice PVPC

Thanks

Can't see PVPC anywhere.

Says:

"CONTRACT TYPE: VPSC without time-of-day rates.

METER TYPE: With smart meter effectively integrated in the remote management system."

Is that the same thing?
