Hi poppydom, apparently there is a place up near Gran Alacant, called Kitchen plus.  It is off the roundabout where the boat is a central feature. I am heading up there when I come out in December, as I want to re style my kitchen.  Alternatively, you could always speak to Schaeppi Rheinhardt, up on the grey area, a couple of doors up from the Chinese shop, by Santander bank. He has done several jobs for me in the past, and very reasonable price wise too.

Thanks Mal

I have heard a few people say that the one in the grey area is worth a try

Its literally 200 metres from my house so hopefully they will be able to help

Is it right in saying he is a carpenter by trade ,this would be handy as i have a few other jobs he can do

Good Morning poppydom, Schaeppi is a builder by trade, but he has joiners and plumbers/electricians working for him.  He actually did my metal stairs 2 years ago, encasing them totally in wood, including the bannisters. Fantastic job.  I approached a couple of firms to do various work on my property, (a Julia) including retiling the roof and doing stone cladding and balustrading around the house, not only did he do a fantastic job, he was a couple of thousand euros cheaper than the rest of them and did not take payment until I had seen and was satisfied with the work, (which was 6 months after completion as I am still in the UK) all the other builders wanted payment or part payment up front.  Schaeppi was recommended to me by Samantha in the OP Group office.

Kitchens Plus, Torrevieja. We have just had a new kitchen installed by Basil and gang and would have them back without hesitation.
