Make sure it is a legal let and shows the Tourist Licence number (Usually in "more info") It will look something like this, VT123456A.
If it doesn't have a licence it is illegal. There is also a limit of 10 nights so if you are able to book for longer, it will be illegal.

I may be wrong but I thought AirBnB didn't limit the length of booking - so it may be possible to book something for more than 10 days and for the property to be a legal let.
What the owner then needs to do would be to contact the person who had booked it and say they can only stay 10 days. I've just had a quick check on AirBnB and while a large number of the listings don't quote a tourist licence, those that do can still be booked for more than 10 days (which I believe is outside the control of the owner - note, I've just saying believe as I don't know what functionality an owner has on AirBnB to limit length of booking).

It is the law in Valencia for Tourist lets and Airbnb do not care as they believe the onus is on the owner. Whether you can book it for longer or not, Airbnb does not set the law in Valencia so if you book for more than 10 nights it is possible that you may get a knock on the door at 6am and get turfed out, maybe with a fine because now neighbours are able to report this.

I think I explained the situation perfectly clearly so not sure of the point you are making - if indeed there is one.
