I'm a little confused and before you say that's easily done........ I know!

I now appear to gave two forums......this one "Costa Blanca Forum" and "Spain Tips and Guides" both being run by Alex.

Is the new one taking over from the other even though the posts are replicated?

I also notice that commenting on Jim's Guides is no longer working and all topics and posts deleted.

I read a post yesterday that Jim has moved along as RayD and someone else may have been barred from this website.

There were some issues which resulted in Alex (Admin) barring a number of members from the Costa Blanca forum.

Partly in response to this, but also in regards to his time commitments following the death of his wife, Jim decided to leave the forum and has setup his own website/forum on which he is continuing to publish & update his guides.

Hopeful all parties are happy and both sites/forums will prosper.

Paul

Hi Glen,

They're both Costa Blanca Forum.  If you use the "Jim's Guides" link at the top of the page, it takes you to the section of Costa Blanca Forum where Alex has reorganised all the Tips and Guides.  It includes guides by other members as well, so Alex has renamed it and added a search facility.

Hope your ankle is healing well - neat sewing!

Take care,

Kim

Hi Kim

Thanks for the info and that makes sense.

Getting there very slowly with the ankle but yes they did a good job the second time round.

Its caused me a problem to be honest with getting my residency sorted in time this year. It may mean that I might just have to wait for the dust to settle next year and go with the flow. The financial aspect is not a problem but may just mean that I could lose out on something else......but nobody knows yet do they!

I might set up a topic for people's thoughts on what might happen if you don't get the application in this year.

Thanks for taking the time to ask about my ankle.

Stay safe and kind regards

Glen.

Thank Paul...

All got a bit messy with the name and shame thing as I remember it.

As you say and I agree that it would be nice for both forums to prosper in their own right.

Shame it happened as now will find myself flicking between the two.

Kind regards

Glen

Yes unfortunately that's correct due to things getting a little heated on the forum to do with a name and shame topic.

I fully understand and can agree and disagree with both sides.

You never know what the future holds but it is a great shame this has happened.
