Hi All.

We are coming over to live  on la marina permanently next year (virus permitting) we have a small place now but will be buying a bigger place to live in.

I am a ex builder, plumber gas engineer and my wife is ex NHS. and we were wondering what work opportunities exist as we are not ready to just stop work completely at this time.I have a lot of handy man skills and I am aware that people have folks to look after properties during and in between rentals and wonder if there are any prospects here. I am on quite good terms with a couple of the property agents and may discuss this with them but just wondered what the general view was .

thanks for any feedback

Steve.

Like Nicola said and without putting a dampener on things it could prove quite difficult unless you are one of the lucky ones who can get enough work to keep themselves going. I understand there is a monthly charge to be self employed and Nicola and other knowledgeable members would be able to advise accordingly. There might even be some information in Jim's Guides that are one of the best sources of information.

If you are anything like me I'm always racking my brain for that little niche that could prove fruitful.

Good luck in your quest but stay legal with it.

Regards
