Hi all

I am a British Citizen but my wife and step daughter are not

On first coming to live in Spain in 2015 I through a local law firm got them what is called a Spanish 5 year residency status and they were given the ID card as such

But in 3 months time this will expire and I wanted to ask Jim or anyone else what are the procedures for renewal of these residency for another 5 year term and where can we start from

Any help will be most appreciated

Thx

Sorry I don't have the time to make sure, but I think this is the procedure:

http://extranjeros.mitramiss.gob.es/es/InformacionInteres/InformacionProcedimientos/Ciudadanosnocomunitarios/hoja015/index.html

If not, all the procedures are listed here:

http://extranjeros.mitramiss.gob.es/es/InformacionInteres/InformacionProcedimientos/listado_completo/index.html

As they were fortunate enough to get 5 year TIE's, rather than one year, the next TIEs should be permanent, which I think means they only need to be renewed every ten years.

Thx Jim

We will make an appointment at the Elche Immegration office and take it from there

My wife and Daughter still have over 2.5 months left on their current residency card

Cheers
