Urb chippy.  This is my second  visit and second and last time of being ripped off.  One sausage and one steak pie no chips or anything else cost 7.50 and this was a carry out.  Wont be there again. It wasnt that good either,

Which chippy was it?

We found the staff to be quite abrupt at the one by the ramp to consum square. The food was pretty poor as well so I have never been back.

Tia Maria's is a nice Tapas on the square.

Hi Carol,

Which chippy on La Marina urb. do you mean?  "Our Plaice" or "The Chippy"?

We've tried "The Chippy", both eat in and take out, and it's been very good every time.  The pies at "The Chippy" are home-made (by mama!), as are all the desserts.  My only complaint is that the portions are over generous, but we soon learned to have only a medium Cod each and share one portion of chips - about Eu 13 the last time we went.

If you want a great tapas bar, try Bodega Los Carmelos in La Marina village.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hola Ray...PLEASE do not 'identity' business names...It could bring you a whole lot of problems!..🅱️.

Im surprised Ray would want to go and eat somewhere he describes as a “ghetto.”

Yes...Thank you Ray. Should the 'owners' read the post, then they may just be a little 'stroppy'.

Some time ago, when I posted about a Chinese restaurant, I was very careful not to disclose the actual location or the name of the business...You must be very careful these days...Cheers...🅱️.
