Things are different, some bars and restaurants have closed permanently others just for the normal new year break.Shops are open as normal, some may have reduced opening hours. Banks are limiting the number of customers that can be inside for instance Bankinter in Los dolses there can only be a maximum of 2 customers at anytime in the branch, you will have to wait outside until someone leaves the branch before you can go in.

Everyone wears a mask unless eating or drinking and the usual protocols apply when entering an establishment be it a shop or restaurant.

Things are quieter than usual that is because fewer people can or want to travel.

The curfew is from 11pm to 6am, except on NYE when it starts at 12 midnight till 6am this curfew is in place until 15th Jan.

On a cheerful note Spain along with other EU countries have received their first batch of vaccine and have started their vaccination program.

Only you can decide if you want to visit given all the changes that have taken place.

Do you have Residency/TIE ?

If not, forget it.

Spain won't let you in as things currently stand with new-variant Covid.
