Hi Phil

There's a shop in LA Marina village that deals in good quality pre owned furniture, it's on the main strip La Marina Furniture ( hope it's till there as I've not been out to La Marina for a while). I believe they have a Facebook page. I also look on Facebook La Marina & Quesada buying and selling. I believe there's a Yorkshire Linen at the Habaneras shopping centre. Thursday market on the Urb there's usually a stall that sells good quality bedding, pillows & towels. Hope this is of some use to you. Enjoy your new house and the sunshine!

Hi Philgaral1967, the used furniture shops are pretty good, but it is also worthwhile visiting the Spanish furniture shops, great selection, prices are pretty good, and they deliver install and build units where necessary.  Brinas, on the bottom road near to Iceland very good and Prompt, there is another down the 332 towards Torrevieja, just past the La Mata roundabout if my memory is correct. Yorkshire Linen in Quesada or Torrevieja, or if you go up to the top of the Urb, just past the big eat café, there is a new shop there selling bedding etc. Good luck with your move, may bump into you at the Palms bar in March when I'm next out.

Just one thing if you go to IKEA don't go weekend or on a Spanish Red day as it is packed and we found it really stressful. We did get what we wanted after 4 hours but needed down time to recover. We have been to a few second hand shops and to be honest we didn't see anything we liked, the price of second hand appliances we thought were way too expensive when we compared them to new. but that is just our opinion.  Enjoy your new home, we are just going through the process of buying a house in Playa Flamenca. Sorry I don't know how I ended up with italic print. All the best Jann.
