Hi, Does anyone know who to contact by phone or email to get a road sign put up with the house numbers on our off chute road on Calle Bilbao,  we have trouble getting people to find us, I have notice on other part of Calle Bilbao there are signs with house numbers on. We seem to be a road that the council have forgotten, weeds all along it, I have contacted the San Fulgencio app, but nothing has been done, the road in question ir between 216 and 178 Calle Bilbao, if anyone can help ?

Having looked it up on Google Maps I can see why you have a problem!

If it were me i'd ask the owners of 178 or 216 if they'd mind you putting up a small plaque yourself.

Failing that I'd stencil the numbers on the chute road myself and let the council complain!

You could also give visitors your sat nav coordinates which you can get from Google maps by right clicking on your property then 'What's Here' when a box will pop up with the relevant info, for instance #180 is

38°08'01.6"N 0°40'21.3"W

or in decimal

38.133765, -0.672593

There is also What3words where #180 is snuffles.much.minimums or you can click on another nearby square and get something perhaps more memorable.

Hi there

We have a very similar issue with our “cul-de-sac” off Calle Lisboa. Apparently, a few years ago, the council started to tarmac some of the other cul-de-sac’s off Lisboa, but seemed to finish before they got to us.

I too will be interested to see the responses to your query, and if it is indeed the responsibility of the council to maintain/upkeep these “cul-de-sac’s or if it is the responsibilities of the owners

Many thanks
