Hi. We're planning on going to Elche today to watch the football match vs Espanol. We don't have tickets, but I'm assuming you can pay at the stadium on match days. Can anyone confirm this? I don't want to get all the way there and find we can't get in.

They do football trips with tickets.

Sorry, I can't answer your question either, but when I went to Valencia last season, I bought the tickets online via the club's website, even selecting the seat and printing out a paper ticket myself. Maybe Elche has a similar arrangement.

Thanks. Just called them and confirmed that you can purchase tickets at the stadium 2 hours before kick off. So we're on our way!

Some friends of mine had a 5 day break in Alicante wanting to take in an Elche match so I did some leg work and found..you can buy a ticket from the ticket office from 2 hrs before the match ...they duly got in a taxi ..found the ticket office at the stadium and got inside OK!

Thanks. That's exactly what we did. Im told that matches are rarely sold out, so you can turn up for most home games and pay on the day, other than, of course, when they are playing Madrid or Barca. The matchday experience is really good - just a shame that Espanol spoiled things by scoring a last minute winner !
