As a non resident you are not entitled to the Spanish SIP.
The SIP is issued to expats who are permanent residents and have applied through the S1 healthcare scheme.

Just to add to that which tebo53 has advised the link below explains the circumstances under which a SIP can be applied for:
https://www.ageinspain.org/post/your-healthcare-people-who-are-resident
Plus it's not an over 65 SIP card. It is issued when you reach retirement age in your home country and are in receipt of the state retirement pension. The temporary SIP card issued by some health centres are not really SIP cards, they simply stop you having to fill in the paperwork with your GHIC each time you visit a medic and are only issued for 3 or 6 months depending on your nationality and how long you are permitted to stay in Spain.
The SIP card as we know it is only issued to those in receipt of an S1 which transfers their healthcare from UK to Spain not as an addition.
If you get a temporary SIP card it will still mean you pay full price for prescriptions at the pharmacy, the same as if you used your GHIC wh ch will be valid for up to 3 months on visits twice a year.

That's the difference!
You are an EU citizen, the OP is not.....
Steve
You have to wonder where the OP even got the term "over 65 SIP health card" from, it's certainly a new one on me!

If you take your passports & your UK global health insurance card to the clinic they will issue you will a temporary sip card & when you make an appointment you sign a firm then they claim back any charges to the NHS in the uk
Many thanks Elaine , for your time
Best wishes
