Hi Sophie,

Copying the Covid certificate to your phone,  depending on how you do it, may make it unreadable by a QR scanner.  It would be better to download the certificate straight onto your phone from this link:

https://coronavirus.san.gva.es/es/certificado-digital-ue

Kind regards,

Kim

Kim,

Thank you, again, Kim. I speak for myself but I am sure others would agree, this forum would not be the same without you; always so well informed and readily passing on the information, concise yet clear, as well as helping with your opinion when asked for.  So many will have benefited from your contributions.

Thank you also to the regular contributors who are all too happy to point people in the right direction. Do not want to name you for fear of omitting someone.

A bit soppy? Well, it's nearly the festive season so that's my excuse.

Hi Sophie,

Yes, the "Covid passport" is the same document as the EU Covid digital certificate - it is not two different documents.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi S,

Thank you, that's very kind of you to say so.  Like you, I appreciate the many contributions from such helpful members that we're lucky to have on CBF.  As for being soppy - not at all!  After the last 18 months we've all gone through, I think we're probably all feeling pretty sentimental about how our lives have changed in such a relatively short period.

I'm getting festive as we write.  The small, woof-proof tree in the lounge is decorated, time to get started on the big one in the courtyard, but I need mince pies and mulled wine for that - well, just wine will do! 😉

Very best wishes to you and yours,

Kim

Hi if like me you have an older iPhone etc you cannot download the digital certificate to it, I downloaded it onto my pc and  then emailed the certificate to myself then opened it on my phone 😃 I just tested it and its ok to be scanned :) I do know a photograph won't work, and never laminate the certificate that won't work either. So print it or email it, or download direct if up to date phone.Hope that helps.

I downloaded tbe Green Pass Wallet app onto my phone and scanned the QR code into it.  So easy to use.  I am still carrying my paper copy with me just in case.
