Hi,

Has anyone had experience of obtaining a Medical Certificate for NLV purposes and if so what is needed at the doctors appointment?  For example are blood tests necessary to show no infectious diseases?

My doctors receptionist has asked me to clarify what is required.

Thanks for any advice

Ian

Hi Ian

Have a look at this, posted by Steve. There appears to be a template? 🤪🥂

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.  I have read the post from Steve but the template he provided is for Manchester Consulate and it doesnt really state what the medical should entail to prove medically what the consulate is asking for, which is as follows:

Medical (Health ) Certificate signed and stamped by a registered doctor. This Certificate must literally state that the Applicant does not suffer of any illness which represents a risk or a danger for the public according to the International Health Regulations of 2005.

My Doctors have asked if I should have tests (blood or urine) to prove I dont have any illnesses.  I wonder if it just a case of turning up to the Doctors and getting the template stamped?

Nothing is ever straight forward lol :-)

Why not PM Steve directly? He’s very approachable. He might be able to give you a bit more info 🤪🥂

Thanks again, Yes I will do that now.  I am usually reluctant to send private messages without contact in a post first.

Cheers Ian
