From what I am told at the surgery it is non-existent at the moment. They have been telling me for the last 4 weeks they are doing 80 -90. Question is, just how many of that age group are there. I am 69 and my husband 70, both diabetics and we are still waiting.

I really thought Spain were getting going with the vaccination roll out till I read in El Pais this morning that only 20% of the the population have had their first dose. The government says it is still on course to reach the target of 70% of the population vaccinated by the end of summer, which is suitably vague, when is the end of summer? September, October.

When I had my vaccination at Cabo Riog MC there was only one person doing the vaccinations.

I'm 71 and I had my first vaccine dose yesterday at Torrevieja. The vaccine centre is near the Habeneras shopping centre, next to the big Carrefour supermarket.

All very efficient, quick and painless. Second jab booked for 18th May.  They will get around to you, just be patient.

Where exactly is the centre you went to?

Centro Municipal De Ocio,  Calle Jacinto Marin Noarbe, Torrevieja.  It's just off the N332, the same exit for the Habeneras shopping and Carrefour supermarket. You can see it from the N332.  Easy to find and big car park at the side.

Thanks for the info. I am aware that a few have have the vaccine in Torrevieja but did not know where they went. Looks easy to find.
