Hi, I am coming to la marina in July for our 1st family holiday with my partner and 2 daughters ages 3 and 7.

I would like to know what is around for us to do during the day and night, are there any water parks or things for kids?, Shops, bars, Reccomemded restaurants ect.

Also is there a bus to the nearest  beach or how much is a taxi approx.

 Thank you in advance x

Veronica

Hi no waterpark as such but còuple of public pools.  One the hillside aqua park has kids pools with slides.   Only small place but good for kids.  The bar next door has kids frame.  Probably only suitable for the youngest.

There is a bus from la marina which runs in summer.  Sorry can't remember name of road but it runs a few times throughout the day. Only couple of euros.

Loads of eating places.  Pisa is always busy (the bus to beach runs from thus road!).

Supermarket also on this road where the bus runs from and also at consume square which also full of bars/restaurants.

Enjoy your holiday!

The beach bus starts around 22nd June, so should be running when you are here. I know that it runs up Avenida Londres, stopping opposite what is known as 'the grey area' and again in Plaza Sierra Castilla, at the top of the urbanisation. If you need more information on bus times and where it stops etc, the Tourist Information centre near the Police Station should be able to help you. It is in Calle Amsterdam, just along from the Sports Complex mentioned below. The photo below shows what it looks like!

As the previous poster said, Hillside is good for kids, or there is the Sports Complex next to the satellite roundabout at the top of Calle Berna.

Geoff.
