Hi, moving to La marina in march and looking for advice on my car insurance, will be buying a car in the uk, can anyone recommend a car insurance company in and around the area, many thanks Brian

Most Spanish insurers will not insure vehicles with foreign reg.

I presume that you are aware that if it's UK reg & you intend to use car here all the time, you are required to re register as Spanish within 6 months? ( You can run a UK car over here for 6 months & then it has to be registered to Spanish number plate)

Not fully sure of process involved, but there will be info on here somewhere how to do it. I know it involves ITV and change of headlights. You will then be able to insure here.
