Congratulations Geoff, it seems that the Zafira was a good buy.

Don't forget that there's a bed and a car waiting for you here - that's if you can get back into Spain post Brexit!

Cheers Jim, you're a gentleman!

The Meriva is a miracle really - 880 km at 110 kph, heavily loaded, and she didn't miss a beat. Best €400 I've spent for a long time.

The exhaust is rattling a bit, but maybe the previous owner will reimburse me for the repairs! Haha.

Geoff.

You are leaving Geoff and we have just started our new life in La Marina. I wish you all the very best for your future back in blighty.

We have a place in El Pinet and love it but we will be renting that out as an investment (more like an investment to the Spanish coffers) We are also going to buy a country property that we will eventually call home.

Once again all the very best.   xxx

Sadly not Dave, it's UK registered.

Just a word of warning, in case you're not already aware, if you're buying a Spanish registered car, be careful to ensure that whomever you buy from is able to provide all the necessary documents, signatures etc to enable a successful transfer of ownership in the records of Tráfico. It's a complicated process and one mistake or missing/unacceptable document can throw the whole thing out. Also factor in the transfer fee, tax, etc.

The safest way is to buy from someone in Spain who you can trust to do the transfer correctly. Just my humble experience!

Geoff.

Bon Voyage Geoff, just curious about why you wanted to go back . Everytime I go over to UK  it reinforces why I moved to Spain.
