I think she was underpriced compared to other gestors. Get a few quotes and compare is my suggestion as Lancelot has already said.

Perhaps.

I asked to meet with her in early September when I was supposed to be going to Spain.

We did exchange emails and she was going to make contact with me.

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

Hi Trotter,

How do you know she has "increased her prices by 33%" please?  I think if anyone is going to make a statement that may adversely impact a business, it should be qualified.

Thanks and regards,

Kim

I agree, Pauline.  My friends are using Uma for first-time TIE applications and she's charging them Eu 90 each - that's why I think it's important to see verification of Trotter's '33% increase' statement.

Kind regards,

Kim

Thanks for the clarification Trotter.  My friends made their initial applications in person at Alicante; however, Uma did tell me at the time that if they had to use their lawyer's digital certificate to submit initial applications online, it would be more expensive - I wonder whether the shortage of appointments has forced this increase?  In any event, as Pauline has said, Uma was much cheaper than many other gestors - my friends also obtained quotes from One Way Services - Eu 150 each - and their lawyer quoted Eu 200 each.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hahaha!  It makes you wonder if they flex their prices according to whether they need the business!

It's been really difficult for people to get appointments for digitial certificates at some town halls (Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa come to mind), but I see you're in Rojales, so you should be OK.  Good luck!

Kind regards,

Kim
