Thanks for reply, I think it was out for delivery, anyway I drove to Elche and got the staff to cancel order and picked up the lights myself, think this will put me off online ordering from Leroy Merlin in future, thanks again for reply

Cast on means out on the vehicle for delivery

Deliveries in Spain need to be used with caution. I have had about 70% of orders failing to arrive/lost/stolen. SEUR has to be the worst. Never ever use a company who uses them.

Proof: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/seur.com

and

https://www.reviews.io/company-reviews/store/seur

I actually think they steal as these parcels have to be somewhere!!!

You take the good and bad with Spain and home deliveries are on the bad list.

No doubt this will be shot down in flames by some and all the reviews are conspiracy theories.

I have a bunch of stuff I need for my apartment - will wait till I return to the UK and bring most over with airport baggage. The rest (larger stuff) I will get via Leroy Merlin, IKEA, Carrefour etc....

I heed your advise, always take notice of someone who has more experience of  certain matters, we bought a few things from Mano Mano and arrived  on time ,have bought in past from Leroy Merlin  ,but first online and for delivery, once bitten

Yep I wish I was wrong on this one but yesterday cancelled a 50 inch 4k TV after 1 montrh waiting (Spain site was just a China dropshipper) and needed to put in a chargeback through my AMEX. Will be getting one this week ONLY if the store in Torrevieja has stock - even in store they often ask you to order in/collect in-store.

Our TV decided to give up the ghost during lockdown, when we could we ordered a new one from Euronics service was fantastic we could have had TV delivered same afternoon had we wished.

This is the second time we have ordered something from Euronics both times could not fault customer service.

Seems like as in all walks of life ,some good some bad ,think you can only go by your own experience  ,if you have a good experience with a company  more likely to use again and bad experience the opposite

Hi Nicola  dont know how long you have been in Spain or your age ,you seem to think everyone who lives in Spain  should be able to speak Spanish  ,if only that was true ,I find Spanish a difficult  language to pick up ,possibly it's an age thing ,I got French at school which was many years ago ,so learning Spanish would be quite daunting ,besides if one orders online theres always google translate ,problem is if you try to call and can t understand ,then it's a definite  drawback ,but if the company  kept to delivery date there would be no need to call  ,by the way that's a large screen for your daughter a bedroom
