To quote Victor Gregg (google him if you don’t know who he is)

I wish everybody well. I wish the world well," he said.

He continued: "It's breaking my heart, what's happening. It really is, after all that struggle and all the sacrifice. And to see how we're even in danger of losing our community as a united kingdom.

"No, no. I'm against it all and I think it's terrible. It's terrible. It makes me want to cry to think about it. Thinking that we should go it alone. We can't.

"But there you are, that's only an old geezer talking."

Remember when:-

It was all the Jews at fault.

It was all the Irish at fault.

It was all the Pakistanis at fault.

It was all the Polish at fault.

It was all the Romanians at fault.

Now it’s just the immigrants at fault.

This not what our brave heroes led by idiots fought for.

Let us also remember that it is us who are the immigrants in Spain.

Yeah, but let us also remember that we are not a burden for our host's social security system and do not need anyone to pay for our cost of living. We observe proper conduct, and our participation in immigrant's crime rate is insgnificant. If required we will leave - will "they"?

Who are “they?” People less fortunate than yourself? No doubt you would have had the same reaction to penniless refugees during WW2. Never has there been a more fitting username than yours, I wish you well in your sadness.

To quote Harry Billinge.

“No one can describe D-Day. No one was there poking the sand for land mines. I wasn't brave, I was a lucky one'. I’ve heard a lot of b******t and that’s true. Nobody was there,” he remarked.

The SAS blokes were there ‘Get off the beach, get off the beach’ no one was on the beach no longer they could help,” he continued.

“The fellas that were wounded either got up and got out of it to get to shelter.”

“I’m not a brave man, I’m lucky,” Harry said. “I owe my life to the boys.

"All Normandy veterans love one another beyond the love of women, you cannot describe them, I love them all and I’ll never forget them,” he added.

You would leave after 52 years, where would you go and presumably you would be able to pay for your health and social care privately?
The west is being destroyed, not by migrants, but by the fear of migrants. In country after country, the ghosts of the fascists have rematerialised and are sitting in parliaments in Germany, in Austria, in Italy. They have successfully convinced their populations that the greatest threat to their nations isn’t government tyranny or inequality or climate change, but immigration.

Lest we forget.

Is this how we treat our heroes? No not the Guardian, but the Daily Mail!

A record number of wounded war veterans have been denied disability benefits in the past year after undergoing tests carried out by the Government’s controversial assessment company.

Hundreds of injured ex-soldiers are being declared fit for work by Atos Healthcare in spite of physical and mental injuries they suffered in the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Last night, the Royal British Legion (RBL) announced a 72 per cent annual rise in former soldiers having their applications to receive Employment Support Allowance (ESA) turned down. Several hundred wounded personnel were denied the benefit on the basis of physical examinations conducted by Atos, according to the RBL.

The company is contracted by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to assess benefits claimants’ capability to work.

In one case, Lance Corporal Mark Dryden, 35 – a former member of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers who, after an explosion in Iraq, lost his right arm and the full use of his left – was asked by Atos assessors if he was left or right-handed. He is now taking his case against the DWP to a benefits tribunal.

That case, and others, have led to accusations that Atos Healthcare is under intense pressure to produce assessments that enable the Government to reject benefits claims.

(Apparently I’m a troll)

I knew a simple soldier boy
Who grinned at life in empty joy,
Slept soundly through the lonesome dark,
And whistled early with the lark.

In winter trenches, cowed and glum,
With crumps and lice and lack of rum,
He put a bullet through his brain.
No one spoke of him again.

You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when soldier lads march by,
Sneak home and pray you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.
