Lđź‘€k    What do you think??

The Tories have had three years to get Brexit sorted. They have failed. It’s time to take the decision out of the hands of politicians. Labour's position is clear: let the people have the final say on Brexit. Let's have a second referendum after we vote the Tories out. Please no rude comments or anyone with “French” in their profile name.

True but nothing whatsoever to do with the first post so I suggest you make your mind up what you want to discuss.

Which version of leave did they vote for? No deal, May’s deal, Johnson’s deal? Did they vote to break up the union?

Johnson voted twice against May’s deal and then for it, has he joined the Labour Party?

Twenty one Tories had the whip removed for voting against Johnson’s deal.

Labour will renegotiate (what again) and then ask the people.

The referendum was only held as a way of stopping the Tory party from tearing itself apart, that worked then.

Food for thought eh?

Get over yourself, there’s more to life than that crap. Plenty of forums to discuss this nonsense with like minded numpties rather than blocking up a community forum with bollox we don’t want to hear. Do one.

Hi Andrew,

I'd still love to hear the views of people who abstained in the 2016 referendum.  Have they heard anything in the last three and a half years which has clarified their thinking?  If so, what?  Has it influenced how they might otherwise have voted in the General Election?  I'm genuinely interested in their views.

Sadly, the hostility of some people could mean they're unlikely to want to discuss this on the open forum, but I'd like to assure them that I would defend their right to be heard.

Best wishes,

Kim

Would it make any difference what anyone says?  The majority of people who voted in the referendum, voted to leave. That should have been that but no, we have been plagued with those that didn’t wish to leave constantly standing in the way of the majority. All of this has ended up making us look like idiots , it has cost untold sums of tax payers money, been unhelpful to our economy and continued to frighten people. We should have left and shown the world that we are still a powerful nation. It is embarrassing and destructive. If we aren’t careful, there will be no Union. Scotland will become independent and how will that end? Northern Ireland will be united with the Republic of Ireland who are almost bankrupt and would be looking for a massive golden handshake which very probably would be refused , Wales and England would end up doing very nicely.  Oh and I forgot to mention all the civil unrest that would occur when this happens, more bombing, killings, dreadful atrocities, the whole lot. Do we need this on our streets? All most people want is a decent lifestyle, a nice home , a job to go to and a holiday to Spain once a year. We have to stop all this utter madness and move on, support our Prime Minister and put our country back on the map again.

Please stop this ridiculous Brexit negativity and have some faith in your country.

Hi Grannyrose,

I admire the obvious passion in your post, but the reason we're in danger of breaking up the UK is because Scotland and Northern Ireland voted to remain in the EU.  I also admire your conviction that "England and Wales would end up doing very nicely", but if that awful scenario should come to pass, on what basis do you believe England and Wales will be able to compete on the World stage?

Kind regards,

Kim
