gas boiler servicing

I have a gas boiler which I think may need a service as the hot water is suddenly not as hot as before. I inherited it 6 years ago when I bought the house and it has never had a service.

It may well be time for a new boiler!

Also if it is run on bottled gas you should have a contract with Repsol or Cepsa and the installation should be checked every 5 years. If you have an insurance claim for water damage from it, this is the first thing an insurance company will ask for.

The failure may be due to a worn out water inlet membrane or calcified fittings. Before buying a new boiler have a look yourself, it can't come out worse that it is already.

Cepsa in Dolores do ours. Or there is Paco Ferreteria in the village. On the right hand side. They do gas servicing and also issue the compulsory 5 year safety certificates. Email Paco in spanish at [email protected]
