Hi , advice required please.

Just moving into our own property in the La Marina Urb. Wish to set up my radio station and get on the air from there. Anyone else QRV (active) in the area?

Look forward to a (QSO) chat with you.

HAM is not anymore what it used to be. I scrapped my CB ( the only w/o needing a license) some 20 years ago. SW transceivers need a license, but if you can do w/o an eyecatching areal try your luck and be alert, specially if youre near to any military instalations.

I am fully licensed and am trying to contact anyone in or around the La Marina Urb who is also licensed.

Hi John, Just stumbled on your post about meeting people in La Marina and I was intrigued with your handle......and the callsign that it seemed to contain. I was surprised that you didn't mention Ham Radio in that post.

I live just off La Marina Urb, in Urb Oasis and I have been licensed for 40 odd years as G4NCI.

I'm not active at the mo and haven't been for 8 years but I still keep my license validated. There used to be a couple of echolink stations in the Urb years ago and I used to work through them back to the UK but these days there isn't much English speaking radio going on.

I'll send you a PM with my Whatsapp number  in case you might want to give me excuse to charge up the battery on my handie.....Hi!

Cheers

Bob
