...ur panel installation inform your energy company or did you have to do this yourself?. We assumed that the solar company would do this after installing the panels as they got all information on who our supplier was.

You may not be alone, I had mine installed by SUNFY/TELFY 7th November last year, SUNFY/TELFY had to then apply for an installation certificate.

...ve since found out someone had installed a month before me and they still do not have it yet either. So maybe get in touch with your Solar installer, find out if they are doing this for you? Hopefully they are? and you just need to do the wait. It may be long wait, as I have been told the time taken for this Certificate, is due to a rise of installations and applications? 

I am guessing if we had got Solar Installation done by the Electric company, we may be in a positive position to access their deals. Hope this helps?

...re so annoyed that we are producing solar energy for nothing since it has been installed. Just now after nearly one year you tell us that the energy supplier has to get a certificate about the installation of the panels. I can’t believe this, because we have not received any certificate from the solar company to do this. Now I’m worried, they don’t even have a license to install these panels. This will probably end up at a solicitors office, 

This is just to inform people wanting to install solar panels,  to check with Iberdrola what is needed, this way you will get qualified information from the beginning.
