Would a taxi take us and wait or what would people suggest. I don't want to be going shopping at the time apart from to get fresh items...would like to stock up on meat etc which supermarket to use please

Kind regards

The cheapest supermarket is Lidl, but it is a mile or two from the urb. The taxi that we use would charge about 6 or 7 Euros to take you there, but I've got no experience of asking him to wait. Near Lidl there is a branch of Iceland, and a supermarket called Mercadona, which is similar to the likes of UK's Sainsbury's or Tesco's.

On the urbanisation, the biggest supermarket is Consum. It's a bit dearer for some things, but not horrendously expensive. There are smaller supermarkets called Dial Prix and Supa Valu, plus a smaller private one called International. This last one is handy because it is open long hours, seven days a week.

If you need more help, feel free to send me a pm.

Geoff.
