Hi Everyone

I want to recommend Lobster for anyone wanting a Spanish Mobile company but with an English speaking customer services team.  Happy to answer any questions if you want to know more.

Have a lovely day.
Melissa

Hi Melissa,

I am thinking of changing to Lobster, from Vodafone. The only concern I have is needing extra credit if you want to call the local police etc. It appears that you have to add money to be able to call such emergency numbers. Would a credit amount be carried over each month? Thanks.

Hi Sheila, yes you can add credit at the beginning or anytime during and this does get carried over if you don’t use it. It’s shocking though that police use premium numbers and not free numbers  I’ve never had to call so was unaware.

As far as I know, you should be able to call emergency services"112" from any phone. This should also be possible even if there is no sim card in the phone. I use an old phone without a sim card to listen to the radio.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi Kenneth,

Yes, I think 112 is not a problem. However, in case of a car accident etc then it’s the local police. Thanks.

Thanks very much, Melissa. I will change to Lobster as soon as my Vodafone credit is low on my Pay as you go.

No problem Sheila, let me know and I can arrange to meet you to set you up. You can delay your port over if you have credit.

Melissa, I didn’t realise that you were an agent. My intentions are to visit a local phone shop when I am ready to change over. Thank you for the offer though.
