Hi

Is there anywhere in La mata where I can buy bus card rather than use cash every time I use local bus?

Also how long is it valid and can I use it to pay for more than one person or do we all need our own card?

T

Hello,

Although this doesnt apply to me as I am a resident with free travel, I knew there was a reply to this question somewhere  on the forum, so I have found it & copied it for you..........

"You can get a Mobilis travel pass from any  bus drivers on Torrevieja bus routes.  It cost 2 euro. you then have to load the card with a 20 euro payment. then you can use the buses in Torrevieja the fare is 1 euro 20 and it will deduct this from your card.

When you haven't got enough money on the card to cover a trip you load it up again.... this card does not have an expiry date. I got one before I got my free bus pass, and my son is now using it while he is here. it saves on finding change for the bus, and when you get the ticket it will tell you how much you have left on the card. this might be an option for you? "

I think you can use it for more than one person but your card amount will reduce quickly, so keep checking. Hope this all makes sense

Cheers

Just to add once you've paid your €20 for the card you can top it up with €10
