Hello,

I have a place in La Mata and coming there fairly often; I have a tennis court just in front of my building (Cabo Cervera) and am quite ready to hit some balls.

Looking for average player(s) to get in contact with and play every now and then, when in the area. Drop me a line, thanks.

Male, 75, would like to play again.

Haven't played for 15 year but feel I could play a set or two.

I am in Torreta 3 ,not far to travel

Tony

Wow, I was so surprised to find this site and your post, Niska.  I am an avid tennis player and am thinking of spending three months or so per year in La Mata (winter months).  I play about three times per week here in Southern California on hard courts.  I would like to find a nice tennis group in La Mata for singles, doubles or just a hitting session.  I am a USTA coach working with children, juniors and beginning adults.  I enjoy playing with people of all skill levels.  Hoping to get there in January, 2018.   Thank you for making this thread.  Hopefully, more people will see it in the future.  Jim

Great! Hopefully, by January we'll be a group of players to welcome you there!

Yes, I think it's a good idea to at least get in contact with some people sharing the same interest in tennis; I am myself an 'average' player (rather weak), so I could even use some lessons :-) let me know when you plan to arrive...

cheers,

N

Will do. Are there any local shops that sell tennis balls and string racquets? I string my own, but it is not practical to bring my stringing machine for a relatively short stay. Let's stay in touch.

Yes, there are plenty of such stores, nothing to worry about. You don't need to bring much stuff with you... ;-)
