Unsettling news that will need to be considered if you are making plans to travel to Spain after we exit the EU on 31 st December.

My message is on a photo as I couldn’t upload the article. See below . Something I’m sure none of us had considered. Not great news unfortunately.
Anything can change at any time. The U.K. will most likely be safer than the EU once vaccines are done. They need the tourists after all.

You can't say non (none) because you can't possibly know that but what you're calling unsettling I would also characterise as logical and predictable.
Curious where the idea that UK would "most likely be safer than the EU when vaccines are done" comes from, how or why would that be?

Perhaps this shows the true nature of the EU, allows Chinese nationals to enter Europe but not British citizens, though apparently nothing to do with the Brexit deal/no deal.
Another good reason to get the covid vaccination..

Fingers crossed . They are rolling it out in most places soon . We expect to get ours in France soon in the new year . As you say most countries rely heavily on tourism so hopefully they will make changes unilaterally. But I wanted to warn visitors planning to come straight after the new year that this rule , which no one seems to have considered , is going to be in place. We are no longer in the EU and the EU had a list of safe third party countries it allows to come into Europe. Before we came in as Europeans . Such a tragedy. But hopefully this will change , as obviously countries like Spain and France want to keep their second home owners and tourists .🤞🤞🤞

They had these same rules for Third Party Countries when we were part of the EU , and remember every member state had to agree to any legislation before it was passed , that includes the UK ! Only now we are coming out , these rules that we happily passed , unfortunately apply to us. They are not new rules just to make it awkward for the UK , they were there before. The EU wants us to stay. We decided to come out! So unfortunately our status is a Third Party Country.
The point of my post was to alert visitors that there is also this problem to consider too when they are booking flights and making travel plans . It wasn’t to finger point.
